CONFUSION AS NIMC GIVES A DIFFERENT DATE FOR DATA CAPTURE AS AGAINST FEBRUARY 9 GIVEN BY GOVT

 

There have been series of challenges faced by Nigerians trying to link their NIN to their sim cards.

Meanwhile the federal government has given February 9 as the deadline and that whoever fails to do so will have their phone numbers blocked.

A recent report indicates the uncertainty over the the earliest stipulated deadline of February 9.

A report from the Nation newspaper says citizens who visited the Alausa, Ikeja NIMC office in Lagos were told to register their names in a notebook and come back March 22 for data capture which is 4 weeks behind the deadline.

It was also reported that the officials did not give any explanation for the decision.

What will it be now for the citizens?
